Artistic projects

These articles illustrate some of the ways we collaborate with artists, designers, and other creators to experiment with ways of engaging publics around our research themes. The arts offer powerful ways to both reflect and shape the world, and with these collaborators across media we are drawn to explore the cultural, ecological, and political implications of our research. These pieces tend to have a more personal and/or narrative style, in keeping with the often visual or multisensory nature of their contents, and a more reflective tone, as we consider the potential of cross-disciplinary research-creation and the arts’ power to reach people on a deeper, more visceral level.
